Animal Ambassadors of the HNC Educational Program

Teddy Bear, the Ball Python

Hey, my name is Teddy Bear.  I am a Superfly male ball python.  If your interested in free hugs, snuggles or just watching TV; then I'm the perfect snake to teach you all about my kind.  I love to sit and snuggle or help my mom with house work.  I am super chill, super sweet, and love doing educational programs.

Thor, Australian Green Tree Frog

Animal Ambassador?   I would rather be eating insects or climbing braches.... But sure.  My brother Hulk and I love to sing, hop and get into trouble.  I don't mind doing educational programs, but I am a look, don't touch embassador.

Isopods, the Clean-up Crew

Hey, we are isopods.  Sometimes we get called rolly pollies, or  pill bugs.  We are actually a crustacean.  We love coming to educational programs and teaching about forest decomposers and bioactive enclosures for your pet reptiles and amphibians.  We come in many colors.

Hershey and Snickers, Kenyan Sand Boa's

Hi, we are Kenyan Sand Boa's who looooove to dig.  We spend 80% of our lives buried.  We even try to dig in carpet.  We are cute, derpy and are more like worms than snakes.

Luna, the Ball Python (Ambassador in Training)

My name is Luna.  I am a female Mojave, pastel, pinstripe, spider ball python.  I am 8 years old and spent most of my life in a rack system as a breeder; till my mom got me and set me up in a huge bioactive enclosure.  I am retired from breeding because of my spider genetics.  I do have slight neurological issues and have a head wobble.  I may be different, but I have so much I can teach.  I love taking baths and getting my back scratched.

Cookie, the Crested Gecko (Ambassador in Training)

Hi, my name is Cookie.  I am a charcoal based, pinstripe harlequin crested gecko.  I am still a juvenile and love to jump and climb.  I like to eat my food off of a tiny spoon.

Wood, Leachie Gecko

Why hello, my name is Wood. I am a Leachie Gecko, the largest species of gecko in the world.  I am shy and like to camouflage on bark.  I sometimes make squeak and love to jump.

Sprinkles, Leopard Gecko

I am adorable and I know it.  My name is sprinkles.  I am curious, sweet and love meeting new people.  If you give me a mealworm, I will be your friend forever.

Turbo, Russian Tortoise

My name is Turbo.  I bet you have never thought a tortoise could move fast...  Just watch me.  I may be small, but I have a big personality.  I can't wait to meet everyone.

HNC Animal Ambassadors

Each of our many Animal Ambassadors live with our Board members; receiving love, care and training.  Many of the Animal Ambassadors are rescues and were rehabilitated and now tell their story.  The pictures here showcase only a few of our many Animal Ambassadors.
